How to Become an Amazon Prime Seller

Amazon sellers can offer Prime-eligible products mainly through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) or, for eligible sellers, Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP).

With FBA, you send your inventory to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Amazon then handles storage, packing, shipping, and returns. This is the common way sellers make their products available with Prime benefits.

Seller Fulfilled Prime is different. You keep your inventory and handle the shipping yourself, but you must meet Amazon’s requirements for fast and reliable delivery.

Before choosing a Prime fulfillment option, check your product margins and fulfillment costs. Prime can help you reach customers who prefer fast delivery, but you still need to make sure the numbers work for your business.
