There is no single BSR number that is considered good for every Amazon product.
BSR is based on the product’s position within its specific category, so a rank that looks strong in one category may mean something different in another.
In general, a lower BSR is better because it means the product has stronger sales compared with other products in the same category. A product ranked #10 is performing better in sales than one ranked #1,000 in that same category.
Sellers should also avoid judging a product only by its BSR. Sales, profit margins, competition, reviews, pricing, and demand are also important when evaluating a product.
